Let the Holidays begin!

School is out, the snow has fallen, and it is FINALLY time for Christmas! To start off the season, Josh took me ice skating (or scating haha). It was quite the adventure! And we had so much fun.

Next on the list of Holiday Happenings consists of some MoTab and David Archuleta. My mom was able to snatch us girls some tickets. We were missing Lyssa but it was still so fun! What a memorable experience to come home to! After the concert, we ran (or hopped or marched or skipped or danced or shuffled) to the Gateway mall for a bit of some Christmas shopping. Poor Bridget is pregnant and was wearing heals! So when we were finally done with our shopping, Caramie and I scored us a ride on a decked out golf cart back to the car. That's where these pictures come from. Quite the event!

Okay... this next part is a secret! Don't tell my Dad! It's his Christmas present but me and Alyssa are so proud of it that I had to post it on here. The best part is, THE CLOCK WORKS!! Now hopefully he doesn't start randomly following my blog! ha Thanks for the help Lyssa!

.................................................

So far my break has been great. I've got to hang out with my family the whole time and it's already snowed a ton! I'll keep my fingers crossed for a white Christmas.

Dickens' Festival

On Saturday, me Mik Erika and Nick went to the Dickens Festival to listen to Josh and his cute little family sing. Now when I say cute, I mean cute! And they did so good! After that, we were walking around looking at all the booths and there was a little booth that was taking free pictures so... we did it! Look how cute we are! What a great day in the holiday season.

it never ends!

So basically, this is how I feel. With the semester ending, classes are getting super stressful. We only have classes next week and then the week after that is finals! Where did the semester go? I feel like all of my professors are throwing tons of projects and extra information at me. Maybe I should drop out.. who needs an education? ha Living in a box is starting to sound better and better! Wish me luck as I take on the demons of procrastination, studying, testing, illness, and stress.

a lovely little escape

So I promised something good... here it goes!! I know that this is like 3 posts in one but.. I couldn't leave anything out! So much happened over my much needed Thanksgiving break.

First of all.. my BEST FRIEND got married!! Growing up can be the weirdest thing..

After the tasty rehearsal dinner, Colton was nice enough to let us kick him out of his house so we could have one last single night with Jordyn. It was so fun to get together with our old high school posse. We've had so many good times and it was great to catch up on what everyone has been doing.

The ceremony and reception were both amazing. Jordyn looked absolutely stunning and everything went exactly as planned. Okay.. well almost. One of the groomsmen was over half an hour late for the ceremony, but other than that, it was perfect!

I couldn't be happier for my little miss Jordy and her hubby Colton. They're great for each other!

..Congratu-freakin-lations to the Lindsays!..

Okay next on the list of great happenings was our little date night. I was privileged enough to go on a triple date with the newlyweds. We went and got some super tasty mexican food for dinner and then we went to Ben and Kellys house to begin this fun project. It turned out so cute and we had a great time! Well I know I did at least..!

Paul was so funny with his candy sculpting. But hey, it looks great doesn't it?

This was probably my favorite part of the whole house. Santa is stuck in the chimney!

The gingerbread house was WAY too tempting for a few little girls! Every time I would walk into the kitchen, another piece would be missing. Hadlee was hilarious about it. When I first woke up, she walked upstairs and said, "Riley, thank you for making me a gingerbread house!" Oh my gosh! Love that little girl.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Okay, you know us Bergeson girls and how we always get ourselves into projects.. well here is the latest! Caramies salon has been working on a little revamping, so here is what we did to help! We didn't have a lot to work with so..

we went to DI and got these oh-so-beautiful picture frames, took them home, and painted them! Then we made a way way cute wreath out of an old book to put in the middle. Admit it, we're like the next Martha Stewerts.

Life is good and I'm comfortable where I'm at.
I'm so thankful for all the love I get from everyone around me.
Now, I can't wait for the Christmas season to hit full on!
